Our Story
Why we started Solum Safety Consulting.
We saw too many businesses growing quickly without fully understanding their WHS requirements. As operations expanded, WHS obligations, responsibilities and systems were often left behind — creating gaps in compliance and increasing risk across the business.
At the same time…
Employees were frustrated by the lack of simple, usable forms and templates.
Systems, where they existed, were often overcomplicated, inconsistent, or not used.
There were no practical, user-friendly and trackable systems that teams could rely on day-to-day.
What We Found
WHS was too complex, too unclear, or simply not embedded.
We consistently found businesses weren't completing effective WHS due diligence, risk maturity wasn't being actively improved, and many didn't know what level they were operating at — or how to improve it.
